Started as a biomedical engineer, focusing on machine learning. My master’s thesis consisted on developing a sleep position classifier using an accelerometer present in a smartwatch. Read it here
While writing my thesis I joined Hole19 as an Android developer, where we used Kotlin and RxJava to develop the apps for smartphone and smartwatch. After that I switched teams and started to develop in Ruby on Rails, where I worked on the core backend application for Hole19.
I then moved to Drover, where I kept working in Ruby, but also got the opportunity to try and learn serverless programming as well as Elixir.
Currently I’m working for MarleySpoon as Fullstack Developer, using React + TypeScript + GraphQL on the frontend and also Rails + GraphQL on the backend.
